Growing up with T1D, I felt really sorry for myself, I believed the world was against me, and I compared myself to everyone else with T1D.  I couldn’t understand why I struggled so much compared to other people.  I would then beat myself up for having such negative thoughts and feelings about the world, myself, and other people.
